Cutting the rear fender trash...Options?

Since I got thru inspection, I wanna cut that plastic trash off the back. Anyone got an idea of how I should go about doing it? I dont wanna have to cut it all outta the entire undertail, so I have to make an undertail kit.

But I still want it to be flush in the back, I can easily make my own tag brackets and turn signal brackets.

Just not sure what the easier way to cut it all up would be, anyone got any suggestions on how you did it?

just cut it up close and drill a couple of holes to attach the plate too.... then get some of the tiny rear blinkers and hook em on and your ready to roll

Yeah, thats what I was thinking, shave it as close to the back as I can. This fender doesnt support the tail lense at all does it? I know some bikes are like that.

I just wanna get it done, so I can move onto grinding the welds down from that ****in passnger rail so I can put my 12' bar on.

Re: Cutting the rear fender trash...Options?

Chop that **** off past the trunk. Drill some holes in the undertail and ziptie some L brackets in there, then ziptie your plate to that. Then you can ziptie some of those small signals by running the zipties through the tail plastic mounts. I can get some pics later.
