How much is this bike worth?
2000 R1 clean title, new motor with about 3000 kms(1800 miles)
905 cage/bar, geared up, DB bars. Overall crunched out but it runs. Original owner learned everything on it, so you know it's had its better days.
How much is it worth? Some BOZO up here is selling it for $5500 CDN (about $4700 US)

ya i'd say under $3000 would be reasonable ... $4700 sounds a bit pricey for a bike you know has been beat, that price would make more sence if it was a minty, stock 00 R1 ... just my

I would think that as long as it's all straight (no dents in frame or wheels, straight subframe), with a clean title, and you can verify the new motor, I'd say it might be worth up to $3000 US -- gotta realize that if you take off the cage and put a set of clip-ons and decent plastics on it, it would probably sell for $5000-$5500.

Nah that's BS. Everypart on a stuntbike has some sort of knick, scratch or scrape on it. Everything else is loose or no longer mounts because it's tab or whatever it busted off. Once it's been stunted, it's hard to go back.

Owning the exact same bike I know what it's really worth.
a 2000 MINT R1 should go for around $6000-$6500 CDN.
As for the market as a whole bikes are cheaper in the US, but not by that much. I find the salvage bikes are especially cheaper in the US.
