new clutch help?

new clutch help?

So i put a new clutch in my bike today and at first it was fine nice and grabby
but then it started to make a vibration noise at at a steady 41 mph and it just lost all that nice grab it had when i first got on it whats the deal? if any one has some answers for me that would be cool

DID YOU HAUL *** WHEN YOU FIRST GOT ON IT?YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT EASY AT FIRST SO YOU GET A EVEN WEAR PATTERN ON YOUR PLATES, ECT.YOU MIGHT HAVE OVERHEATED THE CLUTCH AND WARPED THE STEEL PLATES.PULL IT ALL OUT AND MEASURE THE STEEL AND FRICTION PLATES WITH A MICROMETER TO SEE IF THERE WARPED.HOPE THAT HELPS SOME

that and you have to soak the plates in oil for a while before you put them in,, you cant put in the fibers dry.. Tisk Tisk !!

If You Didn't Torque Down Your Clutch Spring Bolts Proper They Might Have Worked Loose? I Have Seen This Before.

i soaked them for 20 min. but the first thing i did when i got it on was go hit some highway weelis bike was barley even warmed up

Your supposed to soak them for about 24 hours and you should take it easy for a while........at least let them get a few heat cycles
