Re: f4i upper w/954 f-end

This is the setup that I always ran with no problems. The only trick is that if you use the stock F4i guage bracket you have to trim the bracket to get full steering. I made a custom bracket that would not interfere with the steering/turning.

I had to leave the stock clip ons in the stock position, otherwise your brake and clutch levers will be getting in the way and hitting the upper. But since you run your clip ons flipped and all the way out, you could probally trim the upper to suit your needs.

Dont really have any close up pix of my setup.

Re: f4i upper w/954 f-end

You will have to move the clip ons back to a normal position, or fabricate a custom guage bracket.

Re: f4i upper w/954 f-end

I did the same as DEBO....I made a fairing stay that pushes the upper out a little, and my gauges are actually in the back of my headlight. Sounds weird, but it works. I trimmed my upper, but my levers still hit a little at full lock, but I run my clip-ons almost straight out and under the top clamp.

SCOTT_Chychul has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Re: f4i upper w/954 f-end

yea Crazy Martin has the 954 front end on his f4i, and all we did was burn a hole with a propane torch in the front right plastic cover piece so his brake lever didnt hit it.. Quite custom !!
