Re: 954 tail on a 929 subframe?
i have a full set of 954 plastics on mine.
for the tail ...... starting from the front going back. the front of the fairing where it sits on the "legs" of the subframe, on the bottom portion of the subframe.....you have to cut the back side of the bolt hole so it sits flush with the subframe. beacause the 929 subframe is longer than the 954 one.
you have to trim the sides where the seat closes, the seat is too wide. just trim it until it closes tightly.
do you have a bar on it or not?
i have a fi bar on mine. i just hacked the tail at the back of the seat.
i have another tail that im going to keep intact and put a jbeats style bar under the fairing so it wont get destroyed when i twelve accidently
ill post som pics later on tonight

Re: 954 tail on a 929 subframe?
you dont have to grind the subframe. its just that the 954 tail is shorter than the 929 one.
ill post pics youll see, oh and the 954 mounts right by the seat are to close, they have to be grinded down on the inside of the fairing the cross bar that holds it is too long side ways to fit in there
