Ummm i'm at work. I'll post a pic later.. I used a deadblow hammer..Has rubber hammer part with sand in it.. Just make sure you pay attention to how far the center goes down....I start at the gas cap and worked my way out and around.. I'll get a pic up

Rubber mallet and my foot worked good for me........started with the back and worked around......heres a few pics, im in the process of painting it now

its not cut. it was dented in starting around the gas cap and working outward with a plastic hammer. surprisingly very little bondo was used due to the awesome dent job! then paint and clear and thats what you get when you take your time and do it right. its like sitting on a toilet seat, comfortable as f*ck!

Mine isn't from a 636, and looks like **** but I thought, I just post it up It had gas leeks all over the place, but that's welded and after alot of trouble the tank is okay now I'm scared to dent in tanks in the future, I probably will **** it up again
