Re: stuntin an r6

I rocked a 99 for a couple years, tuff bike, crashed hard a couple times, just could'nt kill it!!Get a good cage, and some aftermarket clip-ons for starters, and make sure you keep a extra regulator rectifier around or you'll get use to push starting it!!

Re: stuntin an r6

i have an FI cage on it and no plastics anymore, i have crashed it hard a bunch of times last season, and it still runs, the last crash i had i actually split the head about 2 inches, but i rode it onto my truck, im 10 up in the rear 1 down in the front, im hearin many different things, some people say i should leave the stock sprockets on and some say it will be impossible to ride without a big sprocket,

Nothing is impossible!!! U should run the gearing that your most comfortable with, because what other people say, is'nt going to make you a better rider!!

Re: stuntin an r6

had an R6. it hated being stunted. more truoble then it was worth. got rid of it for an F4I

-frame broke
-shattered clutch plates
-snaped chain
-boken rearsets
-broken clip ons
-unconfortable as hell

but if you like it it's all that matters

Re: stuntin an r6

I have noticed a lot more being stunted. They are usually race bikes.
I like mine. Heres a pic of Ed Metzger on my stock 04R6. He said it was smooth.

Re: stuntin an r6

Thats awesome. I need to get my bike back from my bro and start riding again. I miss it so much. I just filled my truck up with $36 of gas. That would last my bike 2 months.
