Throwin my 12'Bar on, some questions...

I plan on puttin my Powers 12' Bar on tomorrow because all its gonna do this week is rain, so I cant get any practice time in.

Anything I should pay particular attention to when putting it on? Someone before mentioned something about having it on the correct angle or some sh|t?

Can someone throw down a picuture of about how far I should have it from the very end of the tail? Or give me a tip on how far I should extend it?

Thanks fellas.

Hmm, I wonder why? Mine was steady as hell, I mean it would wobble if I tried to breakdance on it probably.

Maybe your tire pressure is off or something? I know that can cause wobbles, or maybe a slightly bent rim, not visible to the eye?

make sure it scrapes on the top edge and its better too short than too long.

Re: Throwin my 12'Bar on, some questions...

It never fvckin' fails with me. I seem to have a problem. Well, you know how the 04' F4i has that grab rail.

I went to just mess around and slap my 12 bar on, not really install it all the way, I was just bored.

And I ran into this problem, the damn grab rail brackets are welded to the sub frame and on this angle..

Check it out...I cant clamp my 12Bar to it.

What the fvck.

So yeah, now I guess I have to cut those brackets off I assume, anyone got a better idea? And yes, you are seeing the rear fender still on, Im cutting that off when I put the 12 on for good.

You figure Powers would have made a different style on their clamps or something? Well I did too, and I figured wrong.

easier to hold something straight behind the wheel so it would be as the ground if the bike was at 12. that way you dont have to lift the bike.

i would cut the bar out at that area instead of wacking your subframe..... just get a cut off wheel from home depot for 2.00 and put it on a grinder.
