Damn straight

I bought a 50 and rode it inside an empty industrial building untill the snow cleared, learnt the rear brake on it and the skill transferred right over to the big bike in the spring............

Re: brake control?

+1 fiddy or 4wheeler something to learn to rely on the back brake then take it to the big bike. After you land on your *** a fewe times on the fifty you'll get in touch with the brake

Re: brake control?

I have been learning on my 97 xr 70 !! I can rock 11:45 on this little bike pretty good now ,just waiting for spring to try the switch to the f3!!! I noticed some of the guys can ride the wheels off there stunt bikes but have a hard time with the little bikes, I am just the opposite!! I actually got off 2 good highchairs on that 70 and I weigh 215!!!! I am very much a noob though!!!

Re: brake control?

I just went straight to my gsxr 600, started clutchin it up and catchin it with the back brake. Never tried it on anything else and I had slow sit downs in about four/five days of tryin it. I found if you get it up to the balance point and practice easin off the gas and brake and kinda playin with it in the balance point, works great for buiding control. Also when I was at the BP pulling the clutch in and just playin with it would help bring the whole throttle/brake/clutch control together for me.
