everyone should learn to clutch, seems harder at first but actually gives you more control of the height of the whoolie. When you clutch it up you can basically hold your throttle hand in the same position after letting go of the clutch, so you dont have to over rev to bring it up and then chop.... know wut Im sayin. I rode my homies 04 R1 and it clutched up nicely in 2nd at 35 to 60mph. 04s like to rev a bit more kinda like a R6.

i power everything up from the slow stuff to the freeway and thats
always whats worked for me. i can understand why people clutch the slow
stuff, but on the freeway how can that not be bad for the motor?
everybody says clutch clutch clutch and i just dont get it.
i can do all the same things everybody else is doing with raw power

I have an '04 R6 with 1 tooth down up front and I whillie it in 1st-4th gear. I learned how to whillie by powering/bouncing them up and soon found out that not only were power whoolies unpredictable and gay/foot in the bar. But it took that much more work espicially on a 600cc. Work the **** outta your left index finger and get it right. Otherwise one sore person you will be indeed.

I used to power my WR400 supermoto when I first started out.. could wheely "okay" then one day I took it to garage to be fixed but when I got it back it had half as much power, felt strangled and wouldn't power any more... best thing EVER as I had no choice but to clutch it up and since that day my wheelies improved loads.. immediately I was getting it higher and longer, smoother and more controlled.
So learn to clutch, it's the only way

i'm serious, everyone should start on an f2, if you try to throttle up wheelies on that *****, you'll make it about 15 yrds in 1st gear.... so you either have to suck or learn to clutch it up.
