Clunk noise

Hi I got a 2002 f4i, notice when I go over speed bumps or hit a pothole it sounds if somethings is bottoming out. It clunks right under the triple. What are somethings I can check or anyone else had this problem?

try tightening them first, it solves it a good amount of the time...take off the handlebars, and the top triple tree and snug the big *** bolt down, not too tight or it'll handle funny and wear the bearing. 20 minute job

Re: Clunk noise

Well I have the 02 r6 still ,but I sold my 03 to move to FL and go to MMI, with some cash I made while working down here I bought the F4i from a guy in pompano beach, and he neglected to tell me some things before I saw the bike. Anyways I would rather just do it know and get it over with bike has 14,XXX on it and I am trying to get **** fixed little by little, but this drives me ****ing crazy.
