new stunt bike problem!!!

I just bought an 03 gsxr 600 that was wrecked. The bike will not crank, mechanic said it's a "tip over switch." Do these Suzukis have a switch that can be reset or do you guys think something is wrong with this thing. Thanks for all the help :YEAH

Re: new stunt bike problem!!!

the tip over switch works when its running so when it lay's down it cuts out. stand it up, turn it off and back on agein and it should start up.
if it still aint starting then check ann the wirez are pluged in ok under the seat and around the battery.
agein the switch resets as soon as you turn it off and on agein

Re: new stunt bike problem!!!

no its cool ... not everyone knows everything right away gotta learn somehow ...
yes def get a oil pickup from stuntex and the engine will be good to go ...
http://store.yahoo.com/euroleather/suoilpi.html

and between the two i would say stunt the f4i ... if it was a 04-05 gix then i would say stick with it

I bought the f4i for 5 and the gsxr for 1200?

Re: new stunt bike problem!!!

depends on if you want to trash the 5 grand f4i ... but based on your situation i would say stunt the gixxer if your just starting out ... get that oil pickup on and the engine will be golden

Re: new stunt bike problem!!!

i've got a 905 external bar and i love it, i wish i had some pics.
i've got an 03 750 and didnt need to cut any plastics to install that f*cker.
just had the trim the trunk tray a little bit though.
only problem with this pretty stuntbike is i cant stick my foot in the bar,
but oh well, no handers with a passenger peg work as long as you put your face up on the windscreen.
and yeah what he said i think pretty much all cages will get the job done,
i'm not sure who has the best, everybody has good and bad experiences with different manufacturers, i just got a f.i. cuz thats what alot of pro's use and i figure if its good for them its good for me.
