Re: carb bike stalling @ 12
Get yourself a new clutch cable. Find a way to route it with no kinks. Buy a MSR Raptor clutch (33% easier clutch pull) if you still cant 1-finger it.
ALWAYS pull clutch in and coast into a scrape/place bike on bar. Its just smoother, looks better, and is 'er
Then once your good, be like catach and use one finger for clutch and one for hb, and two for holding on! lol

Re: carb bike stalling @ 12
nah dont worry about the clutch... that ***** hard.. real hard
just go to learn the idle, your real close... when it feels like your gonna stall it at 12, hit the brake REAL hard and you'll go forward under the balance point, then let the idle pull you back to 12, and repeat process.
the F3s a dope bike

Re: carb bike stalling @ 12
you mean don't worry about pulling in the clutch? i had tried to pull the clutch while @ 12, but it's too hard to pull, and i loose my grip, but ill lube the cable, or get a MSR if that will help, cause i'd love to be able to have a EASY to PULL clutch....

Re: carb bike stalling @ 12
I made my clutch lever (not on the bars, but on the engine) longer, so now my clutch is soooo light ! Even a little 2 year old can pull the clutch with one finger now Just extend it with 1,5 cm or something
This is very easy to do, and works just great !!

and louisvlle, in addition to lubing the cable, clean and lube the pivot bolt in the actual clutch handle. big difference

Re: carb bike stalling @ 12
how did you do that??? weld it, or what?
the pivot bolt in my clutch lever is the wrong one it doesn't even tighten all the way down, but it holds the clutch lever on
maybe i need to spend some time working on the clutch system :YEAH

Re: carb bike stalling @ 12
no, but you commented on me working on my clutch....and if i can get my clutch to where i can pul it in..i can pull it in, and not stall the bike, but others done told me i was useing too much break...but i need to use the clutch too, and thats where we got to talking about things to do to make it easier to pull....then you inserted your witty comment......yeah i need to work on my wheelies...why else would i have been asking for advice....which BTW you weren't giving

A friend of mine welded it for me, he just took a thin piece of metal (just the same thickness of the original piece of metal) and then welded it between the original clutch lever...
Simple and works soooo great !
All the stunt riders here in Holland use this method, and everyone likes it I always asked myself if this method was formiluar with you Americans And for so far, I never saw this method used on an American stunt bike or what so ever...
I hope this will help many stunters out It's simple, cheap, and works great !! And owh, you also have to bent the clutch cable holder in front of your clutch lever (at the engine) so the cable stays in a straight line to the clutch lever...
I hope you guys understand this, cause I don't really know the right words for all these motor parts :p I'm just a Dutch boy, so my english isn't that good
Good luck man, if you got more questions, feel free to pm me, or ask me in this topic... I will keep my eye on this one

Re: carb bike stalling @ 12
also if you know someone that can weld onto your tank for future reference install a nipple in your tank up near the triple tree with a hose on it going into the hollow bolt in the trple like thehose on the early 90's gixxer this will let a carb bike run in the 12 spot its like a gas can with no vent the gas will not flow but have someone that knows what there doing weld your tank it will blow up
