Re: Best way to bash in the tank
i just used a weighted rubber mallot to flatten it out like a bowl. the only thing was it made alot of creases which leaked gas onto my *** in tank wheelies, so then i had it line-x d and it started leaking around the cap to fix that i just removed the cap and siliconed all around the edges ,and that cured it. unless i leave it on the bar for to long itll seep just a bit ,especially if its too full,in that case i find if it is too full it seems there is no room to breathe in the tank and it just drips out the overflow till i burn it off some.. justa hedz up............

Re: Best way to bash in the tank
Hey guys....read all the posts, going to try the phone book and a sledge hammer. I have one question tho....the filler flange (under gas cap) inside the tank looks like it can only go downa intch or so before it hits. Should I be worried about that? Also, should I have the gas cap on while I do it? It's off right now. Any help would be appreciated! Going to put the tank on right now LOL
