Who here has capped off the crankcase to thier 636 and tapped and added a breather to their valvecover (due to the oil of course)?.....if so step by step or pics would be good...I remember Kane doin it but you know how hard it is to get answers from top stunters most of the time.......thanks in advance

Re: who has to their 636
I dont have any pics but i re routed my my line from the motor to the airbox. I removed it from going into the air box and now it goes to an over flow catch can i made it myself. Like the small one commin off the side of the airbox. Havent had problems yet so far it works. Kinda like a coolant reservoir but with oil, therefore when the bikes on the 12 bar all the oil can go 2 the catch can and when the bike comes down the oil goes back into the motor at least that was my plan and so far it works.

Re: who has to their 636
Last year Fridays practice session at STUNTWARS I encountered the same problem it looked like I was riding a mosquito fogger up and down the rack I saw Kane and he look at me while I was trying to figure out what the hell was going on so I asked him hey you are riding a 636 so can you tell me what you think about my bike smoking so he told me it was normal thing on 636's and that I would have to bypass the air box.
Here is what I did and never had any problems and I loved bar tricks on that thing.
1. Cap off the rear lower air box end that the hose from the lower engine would connect up to on your air box.
2.Buy a same diameter hose from AutoZone about 2 feet long, 2 metal PCV vales that fit nicely into the hose and you will also need to buy 5 metal clamps for your hose.
3. Connect the new hose to the lower engine just as the stock hoes was put a clamp on of course then approximately 4" from the bottom of the hose slice in one PCV valve install clamps on both ends. Now from your last PCV valve place another PCV valve about 6" again install your clamps then continue running your hose traveling upwards and to the left going between the frame and engine have it run over your left motor mount then back downward facing towards the outside of your bike I zip tied mine to my crash cage.
Okay so now when you say run the bike on the bar or long @ss 12's you don’t have to worry ever again about possible hydro locking your engine. I would ride my bike and do watchtowers and after my mod never had a problem maybe after a 1 minute bar trick a few drops of oil would manage to make its way out of the hose end but that’s all. Once the hole is zip tied to your crash cage cut off the access hose to the length you want.
That’s what worked for me maybe it can work for you.

Re: who has to their 636
Finally got Kane to explain how he did his...........Im gonna cap of the crankcase completely...drill a 3/8 hole between the 2 and 3 spark plug on the valve cap attach a spigot and run a hose with a breather into the ram air duct....says he has no problem out of it so I figured id try it, doesnt seem to hard, well c
