Can someone post...

Can someone post a picture of there F4i. I need a close up, of where the exhaust, slips onto the headers.

I need to see how far the pipe slides up onto the headers. This would be a great help if anyone can hook me up with a picture.

Thanks.

Re: Can someone post...

Because theres this "collar" type ring in the weld. And my stepdad seems to think its supposed to stop there. But if we do thats, it doesnt line up with the passenger peg to bolt on.

So I need a picture to prove him otherwise.

Re: Can someone post...

there you are bro...... i think the collar you are talking about is what prevents the pipe from leaking......... just make the mount on the can line up, and wherever the other end goes should be fine.............
hopefully those pics are what you need.

Re: Can someone post...

Yeah those help, I found out, it wont work. See how yours clamps good. My **** goes all the way to that bracket holdin the header nice and steady, like I gotta slide it between the bracket to make it work...

So its definately gonna leak if I do that..

Re: Can someone post...

um. i have no clue what you are talking about, but!, there is a ring, that sometimes gets stuck in the exhaust instead of staying on the headers...kinda like a big metal washer/gasket....... the bike in the picture doesnt have it, it is just clamped down forever..... when we put it on, it would slide way more forward than it is now.....

Re: Can someone post...

Here, what im talking abotu is, the clamp space, actually can slide up onto that bracket, so the bracket is inbetween the clamp space.

And it still wont line up with the footpeg.

Re: Can someone post...

yes, you are gonna have to fab a new mounting bracket at the foot peg...... it should be easy, and you may just be able to drill a hole in the stock braket..... provide me with a pic of how it lines up when clamped onto the heaader and i will tell you exactly what to do........
