for me i just kept trying sitdowns, foot in trunk and foot on peg........and they all came at the same time....but foot in the trunk is the most comfy for me....... actually i think trying them different ways helped me out.i think my first consistent circle was foot on peg though

foot in trunk is almost as ugly as foot in bar (i'd rather do foot in bar tho, cuz foot in trunk is an excuse).. easier than rear peg tho...

if you live in the northern hemisphere it feels more natural to take a left hand turn because of the magnetic poles. this has been scientifically proven and even featured in the simpsons. when you flush the john, watch which direction it wants to spin. (some of the newer commodes will force it to turn to the right though)
when you go round and round you are just blending in with the gyroscopic theory and it feels natural. going in the clockwise direction feels really wierd and takes alot of skill. theres really no foolproof place to put your foot, its whatever makes you feel the most comfortable that counts.
