Question Good quality/priced sprockets?

hey guys, looking to buy a -1 +1 replacement set of sprockets for my gix 750 and was just wondering the best place to look for quality and value? Guess I'm gonna need a chain to go with 'em too while I'm at it so if you got suggestions for that as well please let me know.

Thanks!!!

-Josh

Re: Good quality/priced sprockets?

I have Jt sprockets on my Gixxer 750 I still use the stock size 525 chain. I wish they had a bigger bling factor though, I have a -1 +2 set up... it will run you around 35 for the rear and 15 for the front.

Re: Good quality/priced sprockets?

How about you just find an 00-03 stock gsxr 600 rear sprocket for about 10.00 shipped on ebay and throw it on. Your sprocket is 43 the 600 sprocket will be 45. No need for a chain either.

Re: Good quality/priced sprockets?

I think you can go as far as -1/+3 without need for a new chain...

Hit up Jake @ Carolina Cycles, they do custom sprockets, just rear's though, anything up to 77 or some ****, 520/525/530, and he has a few materials to choose from, and they start around $50.... Re: Good quality/priced sprockets?

Thanks guys. I was always under the assumption that it was best to replace the chain along with both sprockets? Maybe that isn't a rule in the bike world though.

I'll check into all of the info you have given. Don't really have a need for a full custom sprocket on this bike as it's for street only and I want to keep the gearing rather tame.

Thanks again.

I go through www.onoffroad.com. They have good package deals on chains and sprockets.
