Re: Help!! Clutch

It's pretty straight forward, you shouldn't have a problem. Just keep track of how everything came out and put it back in, in reverse order..............

Re: Help!! Clutch

If you are talking about the 5 springs that get bolted on from the outer plate then, I think in the manual that they are supose to have a certain spring tension but I am sure they are fine. Just torque down the spring bolts and you should be good.............

Now watch, you'll have a problem............... (I Hope not)

Re: Help!! Clutch

check the springs with a caliper but they should be good, but you never know. Poor springs can make new fibers slip. I usually draw the outline of the clutch cover on a shoe box then poke each bolt in the box in the same pattern. The f4i and Gsxr have different sizes, you dont want to mix them up. Oh, and soak the new fibers in fresh oil for 15 min. Have fun.
