clutch

my clutch is going out and need to replace em, whats a good brand to go with? for a gsxr 600 2003

Go with OEM stock. Same for brake pads.

Its an easy job too. Just re-read the manual, take your time, and keep track of bolts.

take out the stock one before you order and see if the metal plates are warped or burned (scorching causes discoloration). I just paid about 140 for new fiber plates in my clutch.

Since mine were for my stunt bike, I just got a whole clutch including basket for $40 on ebay. It was used with about 100miles. I didn't care as long as the fibers were clean. Worked great!

i was gonna do that but I needed it all in a hurry, and I didn't want to get shafted on the used clutch with unknown miles

Yeah I got lucky. He could have easily sold me some old fibers.

u prolly just need to ajust ur clutch right. but like everybody else u've prolly allready been riding it arround while it slips like crap and ruining it. 03+ gsxrs have a special ajustment spot on the left case cover under a rubber boot thing..
