hey boys i need advice, i live in AK and am gona ride this winter on the hard packed snow or lakes, whats the best tire to use? and you guys used the hex shaped screws too right?????????

dont even try anything on snow, you wont get anywhere. has to be ice. and they arent just any hex cap screws you get at the hardware store. they are special ones used for ice racing that are sharp and designed to let the ice build up to be removed from the head while riding. check out your local shop/dealer to buy some. they will be in the range of about $20 bucks for 250 and $75 for 1000. you will need about 1200-1500 and buy extra becasue tehy do yet ripped out on occasion. do a search, i started a thead about this like last week and in it there is a link to a superstreet bike article where the vertical mistief (i think?) crew did a show on the ice
