endo question
I used to do stoppies on my 01 gixxer no problem even up close to balence and all, but on my 86 all that happens is the front locks up even if the tire is nice and warm...is it the brakes? weight? do i need a diff technique on an older bike?

Re: endo question
the tire isn't worn...what do you mean by forks not loading up?...too much spring or none? wouldn't stiffer shocks make it lock up easier? and what is a "donkey kick"?

Re: endo question
oh ok...yeah i hate donkey kicks i dont try them...i think they're much more difficult...when my tire locks up its at about 20...which is why I'm not liking it too much...haven't gone down from it yet but i did once on my 01..not much fun... But maybe if I put less power into the brake it wont skid? I just can't find that medium where it doesn't skid but still gets the *** end up.

Re: endo question
also....what happens to forks coming down too hard? is that an expensive replacement...another question...what breaks the most often when doing slow stuff (if you have a cage and everything?

Re: endo question
do u do them on the street or at the same spot (practice spot). if ur doin them at a spot, whats the surface like? mabey try running lower tyre pressure and dont slam on the brakes real hard. try to sqeeze them firmly instead if this makes scence.

Re: endo question
sweet... tire pressure that definitly makes sense...and the squeezing firmly should help too..definitly makes sense.. but yeah i just do them on the street...I checked to rotoes and i think theyre good but thanks for the tip.
