05 636 tank

I just picked up an 05 636. I was curious if anyone figured out a way to dent the tank in, being that half of it is plastic.

Re: 05 636 tank

Dent the actual tank on the back, it's all you need for tank wheelies. The airbox sits right under the plastic so I doubt there's any way to dent it not that you'd need to. The actual gas tank dented should be plenty sufficient.

use a heat gun on the rest if you want it to match, just don't melt it down too far....it is your airbow you're cutting into ya know.....600RR hondas are all platic covers over a similar type metal tank.....the front will be alot less "dented" but it works great as long as theres a good lip in the back
