i took my gas tank off my bike and i was a dumbass and pulled out the fuel pump to remove the tank...now when i put this **** back in and turn it up right it dumps out gas from around the edge of the pump?????????????? am i missing something here?????? theres the black rubber piece around the pump but its not sealing or something...........help???????

why would you take out the pump?

but seriously take the pump out again and make sure the gasket on right all the way around both sides, other than that not sure, did you forget some of the bolts ? or forget to tighten them ?
make sure there is no tears in the gasket
and make sure all the fuel lines are tight too

^^^^^ done it all and it still ****ing pours out the edge of the pump

Those gaskets shouldn't be re-used. They have a self adhesive that when the gasket heats up, it adheres to the metal and the pump. You should probably order another fuel pump gasket.

yup! honda loves to make 1 time use parts... gaskets, washers, bolts, all kind of ****... and never take off the pump to take the tank off idiot! banjo bolt, one harness and one fuel line.. wa la!

liquid gasket? just hope it doesn't go into the gas.. go to a honda shop, they should all roughly fit the same

I switched tanks one time on my gsxr 1000 and put the gasket on wrong and it gushed out as soon as i poured gas into it. Double check the gasket....
