Fuel Injection

Fuel Injection
I am looking to buy a stunter. At this time I am currently learning to wheelie on my 02 R1.
Can I learn to stunt on a non-fuel injected bike? I know people can stunt without fuel injection, just wanting to know if it is going to make it more difficult.
Any insight appreciated.
Thanks,
Kerry

Re: Fuel Injection
My buddy has a carbed ZX6R.. he likes the smoothness of my FI gixxer, but he can do just fine on the ZX.... And he was pretty much just starting out when he got it. His is the green bike on www.sektorxii.com .

Re: Fuel Injection
Once I start to get better at BP would I be able to run longer wheelies? I went a little over block last night (which is great for me) but I want to be able to go until I am ready to set it down.
thoughts?
Thanks,
Kerry

Re: Fuel Injection
Once you can hold it steady @ BP, you can go as long as you like.... it's easier said than done though... if you can do a block, you're prolly pretty close. Keep practicing!

Re: Fuel Injection
When you get good enough to BP are you simply using the rear brake to control speed or are you still cranking throttle too?
Also, is BP = to 12o'clock...or is BP like your avatar where you're around 1000 o'clock?
Thanks,
Kerry

Re: Fuel Injection
When you're at BP you're steady on the throttle... your RPMS won't increase or decrease... The bike is perfectly balanced... My avatar is below BP, it should look something like this:
It varies a bit from bike to bike.. but it's way up there. And 12 is actually a bit behind BP... Where the bike is pretty much straight up and down... looks something like this:
Once you are behind BP you can slow the wheelie down. Make sense?
