f41's are notorious for cam chain rattle... in fact almost all the 600's are...

I believe thats the one.. gonna try changing it to see if that solves my temp problems

The ECT is under the air box so pull the gas tank and the air box ... then remove the throttle body then remove the coolant hose that is between stacks 2 and 3 from the thermostat housing. Disconnect the electrical connector (goes into the thermostat housing under the hose) from the ECT sensor. Unscrew the sensor and take it out - be careful of the sealing washer when you remove the sensor (unless you got a new one with the sensor). throw the new sensor in and your good to go - tighten the sensor to 17 ft.-lb. torque .....
