i dropped the front like 1 1/4 inches. the fork is about 1/8in away from being flush with the top of the clipon is that gonna hold the clipon is like 1 1/2in tall, and it's right ontop of the top triple. if it looks right i'm putting some locktite on the clamp bolt!

i beleave thats what mine is going to look like.
got the forks, wateing on the clips and the rim.

You want to drop the bike in the tripples. If you dont, the front of your bike gets raised. Drop them about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches, then mount clip ons up top. However, I suggest FI clipons, cause they go straight out and dont have the riser built in like the stockers. Plus, they are longer, you get more leverage & they have 2 clamp bolts. So you dont have to second guess if they're gonna move/twist on you. Peace of mind is worth the $99.00.

With your clutch cable being routed that way i dont think your going to be able to turn to the left, i had to run mine through the inside of the right fork tube and through the middle of the fairing stay mountings. Only probl;em i have had with this conversion is that it kept smashing the wiring harness on the left side and cutting wires and smashing my clutch cable on the right side

Re: f4i frontend swap to 929
you could run FI clips, but the whole point of running the 929 is because of the risers...
its like running dirt bars with out the added loot... and you can adjust the angle you want...

Re: f4i frontend swap to 929
The whole point of running the 929 is cause of the clipons being tall??
I thought it was better brakes, better adjustments, & stiffness. I mean, if you want more leverage just use the OVER the TRIPLE stock F4i clipons and turn them out rather then spend $$$ on converting.
Check it.. my old setup on the F4 with stockers. Whatevers clever.

Re: f4i frontend swap to 929
I just mounted a 1000rr frontend on my F4i
also put the clipons above the tripple. The problem that i had was that my frontwheel hits the radiateur so i had to put that as close to exhaust as possible. I still have my fairings on my bike just removed the airinducts. But i'm thinking of taking them off.
Braking is alot better and much more stable but it is a hole different bike it comes up alot harder and need more clutch because the frontend is shorter and the clip ons are above the tripple instead of below the triple.
But that is just a thing you have to get use to.

yo mann loooks all good heres what i did. lock to lock makes clutch cable snap over my key and throttle cable pull slightly but o well ill *** wit it later. also took takin a 12mm to the spot a few times to get the clipons to feel right. those things are TALL. yo im also rockin a f4i wheel with a bushing custom milled for the f4i wheel. i prolly can have more made dad tools em out. but my damn f4i wheel is bent to **** from the guy i bought it from so stoppies suck for now. other than that make sure ur tipover sensor bypass isnt ghetto rigged cuz cuttin out a high spreader really **** some skin up!
