Alright alright I kno this has been asked before but my buddy has an R1 and we kno that little **** like subframe, rear-sets, and stuff like that are weak. But what he really wants to kno is if the motor is gonna blow on him like the newer gixxers seem to have a tendancy to do when stunted hard or anything like that gonna happen?

mine was fine..just run some extra oil...like in any stuntbike...mine lasted till i sold it...lol

Only thing I've seen about R1's is that thye get major headshake, A damper is a must on them.

Yea my buddy has told me gets a lot of headshake on it, to the point where we even thought sumthing was loose.

I was sitting at work doing nothing and thought of other things that we dont kno much about R1s as stunt bikes, Im not saying that it would be a bad stunt bike there guys out there killin it on 1000RRs which i would have to think are way harder to stunt than a 02'-03' R1 and one of our friends was pretty good on his 2000 or maybe it was an 01'.

-Has anyone heard of any cages braking mounts? I suggested 905 or Powers

-Is the BP on the 02'-03' R1 any higher than other bikes in the same class? I just ask because I kno the R1s are def track oriented.

-What are the weak points on the bike? like I said before there are the rear sets and subframe which I hear are complete gahbage atleast the rearsets since ive seen them brake from just stand up wheelies.

dude answered mos of his own questions , r1 are for real highly stuntable stock or not they rock dont be skurred, higher bps ar more fun anyhow
