Re: headshake

on every bike i've ever owned , the front end will do that as soon as teh tire gets a little cupped or worn. even my 03 gix started to do it after teh stock front rubber had about 3k miles on it. same with both my F2, F3 , my first gixxer 750 and FZR 600

some people say there has to be a problem, but i know when i replace teh tire it stops. alot of it is your tire bouncing off the minor imperfections in the street surface also.

Re: headshake

it's probably the tire, it's happened to me too, it's out of balance and when you let off the clip ons, it shakes. get a new front or balance the one you have

Re: headshake

The clamps on the axle could be tweaked. Try loosening the pinch bolts that hold the axle on and compress the forks a couple times then re-tighten. That could be it too.
