Re: loops?

If you take it slow, be carefull, and cover the rearbrake: you shouldnt have to loop to find balance point. FYI I looped ONCE before I found it, but only because I didnt cover the rearbrake

Re: loops?

I looped 2 days ago, first time ever. My mistake- i turned my idle up when learning to coast 12's. Just work on rear break control....I obviously need to do that too.

Re: loops?

Just out of curiousity, for those of you who have looped their bike has it been just in 1st with a slow wheelie or a fast 2nd gear wheelie?

Sounds as if most are slow speed...

Re: loops?

I've looped 3 or 4 times, but they were all slow speed. i was depending on throttle and not using the brake at all.

Re: loops?

i looped both my wheelies clutching up from a "ALMOST" standstill...that **** is hard to jump straight into bp, and keep it there.....

Re: loops?

I've looped twice if you count jumping off when I hit the tail doing a slow wheelie and letting go of the bike.

Other than that, no.

I wouldn't even call that a loop, cuz I think everyone does that learning to do slow wheelies. A loop to me would be a fast enough wheelie that you don't need rear brake to keep it balanced and your bike smashes down and throws you off.

Re: loops?

twice. First time was on 650 enduro, was doing wheelies at some field. Had lot of trouble to get it up, because rear wheel was not getting traction. So I gave it more and more untill I came up so fast I looped it.

Second time was on 954. I was rolling staggered stance ~20mph at first, I slowed it down against the brake and thought "damn, this is slowing down nicely" Next thing I noticed that I was rolling on the street and bike pancaked. Still don't know what happened. Maybe I hit the exhaust or something.?(front rim bent , cage bent, rear fairing busted, tail light gone. Exhaust scraped. Broke rear foot peg too.) Sometimes I have been thinking that maybe the rear foot peg broke and I falled off because of that. Who knows? **** happens.

Re: loops?

I looped friday (9/9) slow wheelie...I 12ed for the first time and got about 5 more from standstill to scraping and then Crashed on the last one...It doesn't hurt at low speeds and I didn't even get cut or rash...really not that big of a deal! IMHO. Back on this week once I fix my clip on!

Re: loops?
