what's up with the ASV clutch levers???

I had a 'little' mishap at the spot and messed up my stock f4i clutch lever/perch so I got a 'shorty' ASV lever...sounds good so for. I adjust it so it's got alittle play but everytime I go to bring it up all I get is high revs and it comes up alittle. it's like I have to rev the **** out of it just to get it up. I like shooting the front up real quick from a dead stop and work on nh and O's but it just wouldn't come up!!! so I'm thinkin my clutch is shot so I get and put backon a stock lever/perch and BAM, comes up as usual no problem. Anyone else have problems with these levers? or do I just have to get used to them.

You need to adjust your clutch cable down near the motor and take the play out of it.

their garbage......man the stock ones are the best...just gotta give them the super duper soft clutch treatment. Just gotta make sure nothing is binding. Grind out the inside so you got smooth action. I even throw a little grease in there. Then pour some lube in the actual clutch cable. Make sure the cable is routed with the least amout of kinks. If you do it right your clutch will be butta. ASV levers suck though.

Ive had one on for a wek now and I love it. I cut the ball off the end to make it perfect for 2 fingers. Mines ate up about 15 feet of pavement so far without breaking too.

I got the raptor too. It's pimp, but as for your problem, adjust the cable at the case, I would bet $$$$ that's where your problem is.

There is an adjustment down near the case, loosen the the jam nuts and back out the bolt until the slack is taken out of your cable. Leave the clutch lever on, your working at the other end of the cable for this.
