Re: Who's Stunting an R6
I just bought the 05 Raven color R6 a month ago and finally got the breakin process finished. I just put on the full Yoshimura Tri-oval carbon fiber exhaust system too, excellent choice of an exhaust system. I am gonna start playing with wheelies this weekend.
Is it easier to power or clutch 2nd gear? I've tried clutch, but I think I let it out too slow so it doesn't snap forward quick enough...

<--------Question about sprokets------>
When you guys say dropping a tooth on the front. Do you just go to a store and say, yeah I need a 24 tooth sproket (i have no idea how many there are, just throwing a number out there) and then they give it to you or what? Are they a pain in the rear to change? And also, is it smaller sproket in the rear give better take off speed and smaller front give more torque???? Thanks for the imput

Re: Who's Stunting an R6
I'm stunting a 04 r6 with a recently blown motor. Be extremely careful of hydrolocking the motor on these. When you do start rocking 12's or get pass the balance point the crankcase vent tube dumps tons of oil into the back of the airbox. This is how a broke the connecting rod on Cyclinder 4 just the other day. The subframe is really weak for tapin and you'll be replacing it with even the most careful touch on a 12 bar. It's prob. not the most ideal stunt bike for extreme stunting but anything can be stunted so I rock it. When I have some more time to write and not at work I'll type some more of my experience with the bike thus far. later.

Re: Who's Stunting an R6
ok so many things to say.. clutch and only clutch your wheelies, use 1st gear for learning slow ****.. do not turn up your idle until you can consistantly slow down your wheelies i.e. 45-15mph, have a natural reaction to hit brake, otherwise turning your idle will only destroy your tail.. if you go down in the front, or up in the back it gives it the feel of more torque, i.e. accellerating faster, top speed lower, and vice versa.. if you're doin long wheelies, or stay behind bp for a while, like scraping or bar tricks, run about half a quart more..k i'm out
