Funky Clutch Action GSXR600
So I looped the bike last week and put a new stator on the motor. Filled it with oil and no problems with running.
The problem is that my clutch won't completely disengage. It pulls forward in all gears and is near impossible to change through the gears or get into neutral when I'm stopped. When I'm riding, it's no big deal because it's close to normal. I tried adjusting the cable adjuster on the handle all the way in and all the way out with no help or fix at all. Anyone know how to fix this?

You might be out of adjustment on the lever. Try adjusting it all the way in on the lever and adjust it to get it close down on the side of the motor where it goes into the countershaft sprocket cover. Then fine tune it at the lever. Sounds like there is always a drag on the motor.

Sounds like your one or more of your steels might be warped in your clutch.
Steels = the steel plate between each fiber plate -- I'm not sure exactly what they're called.
When they get warped, they cause the friction (fiber) plates to constantly rub on the high spots. This will cause your bike to pull even with the clutch pulled in. Sometimes this will cause a little bit of slippage in high RPM's too.

I tried tightening the clutch cable, a lot. the bastard still pulls like the clutch is a little out even when the lever's to the bar. Other than a new clutch or cable, is there something I can try? The bikes only got like 7K miles on it.

i got the same bike, same problem, i put a kevlar clutch in it and it mostly fixed the problem, still slips a little but finally goes into neutral.... im thinking anymore its the steal plates or the basket itself... let me know if you get it fixed for sure
