newb trying to hit bp

Re: newb trying to hit bp
On my '01 600...I can only do sit-downs still, stand-ups make me nervous...just the fact that while standing, clutching feels like I'm gonna go over real fast, or wobble. But when I do a decent (for me) wheelie, I can barely, barely see over my front, above my gauges, sometimes I have to look around the side. Basically, if I looked straight ahead, even with the street, I'd be looking at the top of my gas tank. Just a guesstimate, how close to BP am I?
I need to get it on film and have a look for myself, but I've been busy as f*ck lately and have no time to go out. But anywho...for me, that heigth is comfotable and stable.
PS...any tips for getting over my b*tchiness w/ stand-ups, or is it a 'just do that sh*t!' kinda move?

IT MAY FEEL FUNNY AT FIRST BUT YOU JUST GOT TO GO OUT AND DO IT.......DO IT .... LET THE BIKE DO THE WORK WHEN YOU CLUTCH IT UP DON'T TUG ON THE BARS OR BOUNCE IT UP, IT WILL AFFECT YOUR BALANCE....JUST NICE AND SMOOOOOOOOOTH.YOU'LL GET USED TO IT AND WHEN YOU DO YOU'LL BE LIKE F*#K SIT-DOWNS...PLUS YOU CAN SEE SO MUCH BETTR OVER THE BIKE....JUST HOW I DO IT MY

Hell no, stop being a pus<c></c>sy and clutch your bike; you won't fall off; if you don't do it you never will and you'll keep being afraid; and no, in a sit down barely seeing over is about 4 feet high, to hit bp that **** will feel like straight up and down.
