Clutch handle Screw?

whatsup peeps jsut got a quick question..

I crashed my F3 and when doin the LEFT Clutch screw fel out? The screw that the clutch handle pivots around. I really dont feel like ordering one, is there any other way of obtaining one? Will a car shop like advance auto parts or NAPA or any other store carry this screw?

Re: Clutch handle Screw?

If you know someone that would be nice enough to take either nut and bolt of their F3, you could just take it in a hardware store and find on that is similar. If you don't and since I don't know exactly what kind of nut and bolt you need I can tell you this. My '05 636 has a 1/4" X 3/4" bolt in it. I don't know if that's exactly the same on yours but you can take the clutch handle with you and find a bolt that will fit in the hole. I would suggest you get a shoulder screw (the one with only partial threads on it) that way you won't damage the inside of the clutch handle when it pivots around it. Nuts and bolts are only a few cents each so you could even buy a couple different ones to see what works. Hope that helps.

Re: Clutch handle Screw?

it's probably the same as the brake one, take it out and see if it fits. You can always just use a little screwdriver and bend the end of it so it won't come out.

Re: Clutch handle Screw?

I ordered one for $6. I need one that is fat at the top and then the thread is skinnier?? Its weird but the top is fat where the break qould pivot around and the bottom is skinny to screw through the bottom.
