NEW WAY TO MAKE A HANDBRAKE ??????will it work??
I have never heard it being done this way but what if instead of drilling and taping and welding **** on to your rear master and then running a line to your new lever, why couldnt you just run your new handbrake line all the way to your caliper and just get a longer banjo bolt and stack the fittings on top of each other or just put a "T" in the line back by the caliper? they must make some kind of duel fitting you could use that is kind of similar to the front brakes. I dont know...would something like that work?

Maybe if you ran the master cylinder off a different hand brake seperate from the original?to hand brakes like a 4 stroke with a compression lever just use a small lever for the front and a big one for the rear? not sure.

it could work if you put a check ball in one of the brake lines....but I found a way to do it without cuting drilling or welding anything.... soon to be released.

Or you could get a GP Tech adapter and not deal with welding, tapping, or dual calipers ever again!
Stunt kits available for CHEAP! replace the rear res with the adapter, run the goodridge line that come with the kit from the rear master to the front master, and bleed the system, DONE!!! install takes 30 minutes, lock up the rear wheel with ONE finger, been using them for almost 2 years!!! HB combos in the lots on idle and for miles down the highway! BEST set-up i have EVER seen or used!!!
www.gptechllc.com or call 269-671-4915 and ask for geoff, tell him LEGION sent you and he'll hook you up!!!

I thought of that too but what happens to the fluid once it passes the check valve? wouldnt it keep your calipers locked shut even after you let go of the brake?

Legion, I see you always recommending GP Tech. How about you give a rough estimate on a price? I don't want to call and sound like a cheap-skate. Obviously it'll be an estimate, but I'm sure others would like to know the general price range.

So all I would need is a junction valve from them, and then get used brake line, and master cyl?

I agree with this guy. My hb setup is awesome. one finger lock up no prob. Just know how to bleed a line, and hose clamp the fitting on to prevent any air from getting into the system....
