Re: 2nd gear bounce

best thing to do is get a feel for the bounce so you can catch it at just the right time to bring it up quick...takes a bit of practice but thats what did it for me. Bounce it a couple times before you slip the clutch to get in the rhythm then just ride the bounce up to BP and go from there.

Re: 2nd gear bounce

Just get the bike up roughly 9k, quickly close the throttle, then snap it back open again. Play with K's and how far wide to get it to work for ya....and PRACTICE!

Works for me anyways

Re: 2nd gear bounce

On my F4i to get it to come up i had to snap the throttle almost all the way to the stop.

Yeah, powered up, it's very difficult here, you have to time it perfect and be at about 10k. I know a few people that can do it, kelly knows a few, but even bounce and clutch is hit and miss if you aren't at the perfect RPM.

get around 7-8 grand and bounce with your body weight on the foot pegs....here is the key....as you bouce the bike down nail the thottle at the same time....lean your weight back a little and dont' pull on the handle bars the bike should just come right up....

Lean back, lean back, lean back. If you dont committ to leaning back just after you bounce nothing will happen. Even when clutching (600) you need to lean back a little. Yeah, have someone watch you or film you and you'll see what Im saying. Its as simple as that. Practice practice practice.
