Blowing Fuses?!?!

I have an 04 r6 streetfighter with the Acerbis Diamond headlight. After about 10 minutes of riding it blows the light fuse. Has this happened to anyone else? I need my lights to get to work in the morning. Help me out. What other headlights can I put on or how can I fix this?

Does it blow from just being on, or from wires moving around?

Re: Blowing Fuses?!?!

how did you hook-up the headlight? The acerbis, I thought, had three wires coming out of each bulb balast, and the r-6 only has two wires comig out of the bulb balast..... the later model r-6 headlight circuit is kinda wierd... I would personally fuse and toggle the acerbis to a 12v source (batt.)

Re: Blowing Fuses?!?!

You have a short somewhere, Trying tucking away the wires better, keep them away from the front forks. Make sure no wires are exposed. I'd bet that when you turn, the forks are moving the wires and letting them make contact with something.
