F4i: Taking the CA model O2 sensor off?
How do I take the O2 sensor off of my bike, w/ out having the check engine sign go on? I just bought an exhaust system, and it doesn't retain the old O2 sensor hole. What would be the easiest way to go about w/ this? I just don't want to have the Check-Engine sign on all day when I'm riding.

Call www.hardracing.com at 704-799-2192. Ask them for the O2 sensor eliminator. its a little thing that plugs in at the connector where the 02 sensor usually plugs in at. They can help with any questions too

you actually don't even need the eliminator - I spoke to the guys at K&N, and they said all it does is stop the FI light staying on.

Re: F4i: Taking the CA model O2 sensor off?
should I just drill a hole in the downpipe, and plug the sensor in? or can i Just leave it out in the open or something? The eliminator seems to be the best option right now, but until I get it, what should I do?

Use the eliminator....
Your right that just unplugging it is ok, but the problem with that is with the FI light on all the time, you wont be able to tell if/when something else goes wrong......unless you check the codes by reading the flashes every time you get off the bike.
So do it right the first time
