Re: 2003 r1 cruise control

I know someone that had this thick rubber ring that he put around the handle bar before the throttle. he would just slip it over when he got to speed and the ring would wedge itself next to the gripper. Sorry, it's kinda hard to explain.

turn your throttle up on your throttle bodies. its not on the hand grip.

you can get a thick O-ring from any hardware store that fits tight over your bar end. when you want cruise control, roll it towards the grip so it wedges in between the bar end and grip...when you don't want cruise, just roll it back on the bar end. i don't think many, if any stunters do it this way...they just turn up the idle, but it's cheap and easy.

go to www.gstwin.com, and ask Kerry, how he made his for his bike. It's like a butterfly bolt, that when twisted, keeps the throttle in place, by squeezing the barend in... go tlak to him for the whole setup.
