Tip for 905 cage rollover problem
Heres a tip for the 905 cages rolling over onto your clip-ons and upper
......Do a google search for DELRIN. You should be able to find lengths of 1" diameter delrin, and theyre pretty cheap for a length of it. Cut to a length where itll bottom out against the bolt, and stick out about 2 inches. Then stick it in the forwardmost upper motormount bolt tubing, bottomed out against the bolt. Bingo, easy and affordable sliders.
Sometimes, itll end up a little on the loose side......just put a little tape around it to thicken it up.
If it breaks off clean withthe end of cage tubing, just stick a screw into the delrin and pull it out using that
Your welcome

Re: Tip for 905 cage rollover problem
i asked aaron @ 905 about a slider for his cage. he said at this point it was bad idea. im thinking his logic was to much stress or added leverage to the motor mounts or threads.

I pulled the mount tube back for that pic, but it broke around all the welds and was just hangin there.
It looked like this before I moved the mounting tube.
