Re: easier stunt bike

Haven't ridden a 636, but I love my 600RR, have heard the lil bit of extra power makes the 636 nice!

You are better off to find 2 people who have the bikes, then con them into letting you ride their bikes.....then you can make your own mind up, cause people anywhere are gonna tell you based on their personal preference and usually some bias towards a brand or bike.....i.e. I'll never ride any thing but a honda again, whether its another 600RR or F4i, 929, 954,......It'll come with a honda wing or it won't come with me!

Re: easier stunt bike

Everyone recommended I get an F4i...so I did! Plus I also have the 1000RR and that damn undertail exhaust gets warm! lol It seems as if the F4i was built for stunting!

Re: easier stunt bike

personly between the 600rr and 636 id go with the 636 and not the 600rr just because of the undertail exhaust and they are very front heavy. however the 636 will probly only last you 4 months if your lucky my boy was just starting out payed 4500 for his 636 lasted him 3 months every time they hit the ground you just here and see s**t raddle loose i just bought and f4i after have a load of 929s and i will tell you a honda holds up more tham any other bike out there. but dont get mw wrong that dam 636 is a killer it wont stall out i rode one and it just wants to keep moving its so light but not my style i want my bikes to hold up

tell your boy to learn to ride...

j/k

yes 636 is somewhat more fragile, but I looped 2nd gear hc at around 90-95 mph and here's the pic of the bike after that...

Re: easier stunt bike

my friend has rode both and loves the 636

the 600RR is more for racing ie undertail exhaust which would get in the way when you are stunting

Re: easier stunt bike

the undertail exhuast has never really gotten in the way for me, and I don't think it has for Bullo or G from sic riders, its never made the back seat hot, but makes the 12 bar a little warm some times

What I think they majuor differences are between the F4i and 600RR.....

*the seat on the 600RR sits higher/or feels like it does, so you feel like you are riding on the RR, not "in" the bike.
*the RR, I think, would be harder to learn on than the F4i, front end is heavier...motor is farther forward and down
* the gas tank is really short, at least when I compared to a 954, gixxer750, and an F4i.....it still works fine, but you're really close to the clipons/handlebars when riding a spreader
*the plastic gas tank cover takes more time and work to mold in instead of denting in, but works fine

----if you want an easier stunt bike, go with the F4i, I still love my RR, but would most likely convert it back to a street bike if I nad an F4i.
--As far as a 636 goes, they look good and run good, but I no longer trust anothing but Honda, because of how they take a beating and how easy I've seen things break on other brands...new gixxer fairing stays, suzuki/kawi plastics, forks, frames, wheels.........now a motor in a brand new 05 gixxer with less than 200 miles on it.....yet my RR starts every time and runs good every time

Re: easier stunt bike

The new Kawi 636 has a stronger frame, but it also comes with an undertail exhaust too.

Re: easier stunt bike

cant believe i clicked on a kawi over a honda, but the rr's suspension fights wheelies,, and the tank is plastic so you cant beat it in..

Re: easier stunt bike

Ive heard on the new RRs all u gotta do is stiffen up the rear suspension and that helps eleviate that problem with the pro-link?

how does the 600RR feel on one wheel though? Ive heard a lot of people say that the 1000RR doesnt feel very stable in a wheelie, so i would think the 600RR would possibly be the same way?

From the sounds of the 600RR...even though its a 600 it doesnt sound like it can be called a cheater bike at all

yes it is just a little bit from the other side and just few millimeters at the top of it, and you can see a crack in the plate holder...It didn't hit hard on the tail, I just let go when I past BP cuz I had no HB, and tail just scraped (plate holder hits first) and bike fell on the left side (as you can see) and continued to slide...

Re: easier stunt bike

wow i haven't heard of the whole 'stiffening the rear suspension' thing for the RR. i might have to try that out. I can rock my RR at and a little past BP and feel pretty darn comfortable on it. from what i've been told, the unit pro link suspension does work against you, but once you're up, you're up.

but i take it that the f4i would be easier than both the 600rr and the 636?
