What do you do with the gauge wires, will the bike start without them being hooked up? The sub-harness is cut their and I was just gonna tape them all up if the bike will complete the circuit and run. I know folks are running Fightered F4i's out there w/o gauges so someones got an answer. I'm real close to runnin' and just want facts to speed up the ****. Hell's Yeah

Re: f4i fighter set-up

I dont have gauges either. I have the tos jumped and the clutch switch jumped right at the plug, and thats it.

Re: f4i fighter set-up

on an f4i if you unplug your head light it will not run.

there is a green wire and a red wire that are attached to the plug that connects from the bike to the headlight. you have to 'jump' it.

i used t-taps.

z-unit had a good post about this a while ago
