Break control and Balance point help.......

O.K ... My wheelies are finaly getting up there.... The fear factor as every one told me goes away with seat time and they are getting higher and higher... I am not at balance piont yet but am well on my way... I am clutching them up in first at like 10 15 mph.... But the brake control thing continues to evade me..... Never have I hit the back break when I bring it up to high out of instict. I am trying to be able to ride a first gear wheelie at B.P at 25 30 mph before the summer is over. So my question is, will buying a fiddy help speed my learning process up... Is it worth the money because buying one would be a big deal cause i'm not rich.. Or should I just shoot my freind a couple of bucks to borrow it for a month or two...

Can someone please guide me in the right direction... How long should I be practicing a week.. What should I be practicing doing exactly besides going back and forth popin dem up... What should I focus on...

P.S I am on a f4i 1 down in front and will have a cage on it next week... Sorry for the long story but I am excited Thanx

find someone with a quad and ride it for a couple hours. That will probably be all it takes.

Re: Break control and Balance point help.......

first thing is first.. learn how to spell brake.

Then, just keep practicing. The more comfy you get, the easier it will be for you to think about using the brake. Don't get in such a rush, it really is easy and it will come. Just keep practicing.

Re: Break control and Balance point help.......

if your already thinking about it get a 50. they are a **** load of fun and it will definitally teach you brake control, and it costs alot less when you crash. i learned on a 50 last summer and have everything down on lock, i started practicing on my cbr this year and learned how to keep 1st gear at idle at like 5-10 mph in like 6 hours
