DMV accidentally gave me a clean title

DMV accidentally gave me a clean title
I bought a parts-title bike from my buddy. THe insurance company JUST salvaged it and DMV hasn't been notified yet.

just for ***** and giggles, I took his old clean title (that was in his attic the whole time) and DMV gave me plates and a clean title.

my question is, will DMV void my registration and send me a letter at some point?

They could and hit you with fraud dog. Just play stoopid.

They will probably send you the revised "salvaged" title in the mail and void out the other title number.

They might not say anything about it to you, but once you sell it, the new owner will probably receive a salvaged title. It's happened to me before.
