Re: packing a muffler......

I'd guess some FMF packing material for dirtbikes and quads. Any bike shop probly has it in stock.

Re: packing a muffler......

Most local bike shops carry packing. The last time I bought some it was about $12 for a bag and it took 1 1/2 bags so I had to buy 2 bags.
I have a "leftover" amount of packing from that time as well as a leftover bag from when I did pipe on my banshee a while back and the 2 were definelty a little different for some reason. The stuff the shop told me to use for my streetbikes seems more dense than the other stuff.
Either should work, but denser would likely last longer and maybe be a little quieter.
