FI Light coming on...

FI Light coming on...
Ok, when my 01 F4i is cold and i start it, it used to auto choke or whatever and rev to like 3k rpm or whatever till it got to about 98 degrees. Now it idles rough and very low (under 1k rpm) for like 15 seconds, then the FI light starts blinkin then it revs normal, after its warmed up, i can turn it off and start it back up and the FI light doesnt come on anymore.
Sometimes it blinks 2 times, pauses, 2 times, etc, sometimes it stays lit constantly...
Also, when its "under-revving" i can give it gas and keep it about 3-4k rpm till it warms up but when i cut the throttle, it dies and takes about 5 seconds of churning to start it back up.. Any ideas??!

Re: FI Light coming on...
this is a easy fix.
you need to reset the computer
get a piece of wire and Jump the connector on the seat. the plastic connector that has nothing connected to it.
you need to stick the wire in and jump that thing.
that resets all electronics along with mapping.
good luck
