gsxr 600 wheelie breakthroughhh
first i know this should be in the wheelie forum. But didn't think anybody looks in there. Anyway, About the weeks ago i submitted a thread saying 600 will only wheelie in first and was asking if i need a bigger bike. You guys said practice practice practice. Well after three weeks of practicing and doing the techniques that i have learned from you guys I can ride it in second and third for a long *** way. So guys that were like me saying a 600 couldn't do it. Oh it can, with practice. thanks for your help guys

Congrats man, I told you your sixxer was plenty.
And about the clutch...as long as you aren't burning it by holding it in half-way while revving your engine all to hell...you shouldn't really notice a big difference.

I set the front end down a while ago when i was do a wheelie and my front end started shaking real bad i was getting prepared to taste some asphault. This happened twice. will a good stabilizer completly stop headshake. If so what brand to get.

I replied to your other thread about this also. A good damper like scotts or gpr should fix the problem. I'm just getting my 954 up and running again after a freeway wheelie/tankslapper dumped me. I have a scotts on order as I want to be able to put it on different bikes. with scotts you can put them on different bikes by purchasing different mounting kits for each bike and using the same damper.

I've never had even the tiniest bit of headshake from my gixx...even setting a wheelie down with the wheel turned a few inches to one side. Once when I was a squid though...I jumped from the pegs to the tank, put too much weight on my right foot when jumping...man, that biatch wobbled like all hell.
