this bastard was a little off the whole time well the front left bolt came loose last night,so I figure I will put these sprockets on,and guess what the left side bolt will not start.GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

correction it will bolt without any of the washers behind it,WTF gives, there should be 7 washers behind the cage in front of the frame,if I dont put any in it it will thread right up????!!!!!

Re: Mxd Cage Help!!!!!!!please

I can't tell what you're saying but do you have the sliders off cuz you have to have something to hold the bolt in place or it won't thread.

Re: Mxd Cage Help!!!!!!!please

yeah the sliders are off,if they are in there is no way to thread the bolt.....
anyway
When I first got the cage a week or so ago the left side bolt nevber really seemed right to me,it didnt seem to thread very well but it was tight, well the bolt eventually came loose.SO I decided to put on this 66 tooth sprocket I have.
I get the sprockets on and I am trying to get the cage back on but the left side front mount will not thread with the washers on it,without washers it bolts right up......

Re: Mxd Cage Help!!!!!!!please

its in a bind, you might have to loosen all your bolts and move the motor around with a prybar or whatever. get all the bolts in before you tighten any of them. had the same problem on my r6, bolt came out and the motor kinda shifted over.

What does puttin a 66 tooth rear sprocket on have to do with a cage? You dont have to remove your cage to chang the back sprocket.
