i got a 93 900rr about a year ago... it had about 13000 miles.. now it has about 17000... just wondering how often u need to get the carbs cleaned/synchronized... it doesn't seem to have the throttle response it did when i bought it...thanks

not that often, i would first try doing a tune up. That's oil, oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs, and a fuel filter if it has one. See how the response is then! if its still bad you might want to consider getting the carbs synced. Also, if the bike is not gonna run for a while, like over winter, put a fuel stabilizer in the tank (available at any auto place or walmart) and run the bike with it in there for a few minutes. That way the gas that is in the bowls won't go bad and clog up the carbs!
